If my school sent me free money, I'd send it back with "fuck you" written on it.
Fundraiser's are fine, but to hit up a gallery talk? Charge 500 for dinner or an after party.
With the hirshhorn charging it was at least a reasonable price, they let students in for free.
Even that stopped after one event.
